His translation of Yitzhak Erlichson's Mayne fir yor in sovyet-rusland [My Four Years in Soviet Russia], was published in 2013. His translation of Shmerke Kaczerginski'sKhurbn vilne [The Destruction of the Jewish Community in Vilna], is under contract with Wayne State University Press. He wrote Yiddish With Footnotes: Vilna 1913; The Forverts and the Vorwärts; and What Would Yiddish Be Without Hebrew? a 20th-Century Debate, for YIVO News and Features.
