Elazar Elhanan

Elazar Elhanan is an Associate Professor of Hebrew and Yiddish literatures in the department of Classical and Modern Languages and Literatures in the City College of New York where he teaches in the Jewish Studies Program. Elhanan received his PhD in 2014 in Comparative Literature and Middle East studies from Columbia University and his book based on his dissertation entitled "The Path Leading to the Abyss: Hebrew and Yiddish in Yaakov Steinberg's Poetry" is forthcoming with Mossad Bialik in summer 2024.
