Dory Fox is a PhD Candidate in the department of English Language and Literature at the University of Michigan, where she studies Jewish American literature in English and in Yiddish. Her research focuses on the impact of scientific theories of evolution and inheritance in twentieth-century literary works, and on the contemporary discourse around Jewish genetics.
