Jenna
Ingalls is a doctoral candidate in German Literature at University of
California, Berkeley, where she teaches German and Yiddish language
courses. She focuses on German and Yiddish Poetry and is currently
completing her dissertation on German-Jewish poet Else Lasker-Schüler's
publications in avant-garde periodicals from 1910-1914. Jenna's interests
also include German/Yiddish, Yiddish/German translation, the Bible in
literature, and premodern literature.
