Evgenia Batsevitsky

Evgenia Batsevitsky is an English teacher and editor-in-chief of Iberzets, where she curates, translates, and promotes the bridge between Yiddish and Hebrew literature for a modern audience. She is pursuing an M.A. in Yiddish and Comparative Literature at Tel Aviv University, with research focused on the prophetic poetry of Peretz Markish and Abraham Sutzkever. Alongside her editorial work, Evgenia has been teaching English for six years and brings her multilingual expertise in Hebrew, Russian, English, German, and Yiddish.
