C. Tova Markenson

C. Tova Markenson is a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Research on Antisemitism at Technische Universität Berlin. She is currently completing a book manuscript on performance, gender, and migration vis-à-vis the histories of Jewish sex workers in Argentina (1870–1940). Her research has been recognized by organizations such as the American Society for Theatre Research, the Latin American Jewish Studies Association, the American Academy for Jewish Research, and the Sexualities Project at Northwestern. She is also a member of the Digital Yiddish Theatre Project.
