Fin der redaktsiye: In geveb to Switch to Galitsianer Standard Yiddish

As our loyal readers know, we at In geveb have been making a number of changes to our style guide since launching, and we want to keep our readers abreast of this process. After accusations of “Litvaknormativity,” which we have taken very seriously, the Editorial Board has come to the decision to use Galitsianer Standard Yiddish going forward. Half of the In geveb staff claim Litvak heritage, but they put their snottiness aside in recognition of the universality of Galitsianer Yiddish. In recognition of this important shift, we have invited musician and Galtsianer activist P. Diddy (formerly known as Litvak rapper “Poo Doodoo”) to join our editorial board.
