Toby Blum-Dobkin is a folklorist who has written and lectured widely on Yiddish folklore and ethnography. She created and directed the Video History Project of the Museum of Jewish Heritage, which documented the experiences of Holocaust survivors, rescuers, war crimes prosecutors, U.S. military personnel and postwar relief workers. She was on the staff of the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research and served as a founding board member of City Lore: The New York Center for Urban Folk Culture.
