Sharon Power is a Yiddish teacher and translator in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. She received her M.A. in Women’s Studies from York University in 2010 and studied Yiddish at the graduate level at Columbia University in New York. She has been teaching Yiddish in the community for 14 years, and currently teaches the online Intermediate-Plus and Advanced classes for the UJA Committee for Yiddish in Toronto.
