Shahar Fineberg

Shahar Fineberg, born in Israel in 1987 and based in France, is a host and producer of Yiddish haynt on RCJ 98.4, Paris Yiddish Center’s bi-weekly radio program. He was a 2020 Fellow of the Yiddish Book Center Translation Fellowship for which he translated A. Lutski’s Gresere improvizatsyes. He is also a radio actor (most recently in The Dead Man, dir. Caraid O’Brien, produced by the Yiddish Book Center for Carnegie Hall), comic book author (notably The Travels of Reb Mendelovitch), and currently has several fiction projects for radio and TV in various stages of development.
