Joshua Schwartz is a doctoral candidate at New York University, writing on heartbreak in Hasidic mysticism, finishing in 2019. He has taught at NYU, the Academy for Jewish Religion, and the Chicago Theological Seminary. Joshua was the translator for the anthology The Torah of Music (Hadar, 2017).
