Esther Singer

Esther Singer is a Yiddish teacher based in the Bega Valley in so-called Australia. Their current interests are in developing Yiddish learning communities outside the academy, queer Yiddish texts and creating listening resources for Yiddish learners. They received their MA in Applied Linguistics from the University of Melbourne in 2020, specialising in language revival, second language learning and sociolinguistics. Esther also produces the podcast for Yiddish learners, Proste Yiddish.
