By day, Barry is an international lawyer; by night, a Yiddishist. He has veltlekhe degrees from Yale University and Columbia University, and a more heymishe yikhes from Yiddish studies with Ot Azoy in London and YIVO in New York. He is one of the organizers of the Yiddish Open Mic Café and the Yiddish Sof Vokh in England.
