Avraham Novershtern

Avraham Novershtern is professor emeritus of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he served as the Joseph and Ida Berman Professor of Yiddish. He is currently the director of Beit Schalom Aleichem in Tel Aviv and the head of the bibliographical project "Index to Yiddish Periodicals".
