Matthew Shifrin

Matthew Shifrin is a blind countertenor, accordionist and musical-theatre composer. His one-man musical in English and Yiddish, My Grandma’s Mind Is Like An Ocean, won an award for Best Musical at the United Solo Theatre Festival on Theatr Row in NYC. He’s the founder and CEO of Bricks For The Blind, a nonprofit creating text-based instructions so blind kids can build LEGO sets on their own, and hosts the podcast, Blind Guy Travels.

I went to Google, and typed in Yiddish Braille. Hebrew Braille had been used since the mid-twentieth century, so there had to be Braille for Yiddish, right?
