Jonathan Branfman is the Reinhard Postdoctoral Fellow in Jewish Studies at Stanford University. His current book project is Queer Glamor: Masculinity, Race & Millennial Jewish Stardom. More broadly, his research interests include Jewish racialization, gender, and sexuality in U.S. popular media. To make feminist education more accessible beyond academia, he has also published the LGBTQ youth guide You Be You! The Kid's Guide to Gender, Sexuality & Family in 2019. The book is now translated into 23 languages, and Jonathan is thrilled to soon count Yiddish among them.
