Ellen Perecman

Ellen Perecman holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics from the Graduate Center -CUNY and a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College. She is also a professionally trained actor who studied with Julie Bovasso and Vivian Matalon. Ellen recently published her English translations of Yiddish plays through IUniverse in a volume entitled Ten Yiddish Plays in Translation. Ellen is a native speaker of Yiddish.
