Elizaveta Kheresh

Elizaveta Kheresh is a PhD student in the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures at Harvard. She is a researcher of underground communities, contemporary poetry in Eastern Europe and identity formation in Soviet Belarus. She works in the fields of gender studies and intellectual history. In 2023, she was awarded the Andrei Bely Prize in the cultural projects category. She is a poet and translator from Italian, German, Polish, Belarusian, and Yiddish. Her first poetry collection "My boyfriend is Audre Lorde" was published in 2026 in Binadroba Publishing House. Her articles were published in Scando-Slavica and Matitsa srpska journals.
