Dinah Megibow-Taylor is an undergraduate at The University of Chicago. She is keenly interested in examining how language influences culture, and is spending her undergraduate career investigating this question. In 2024, she was an intern in the Archives Department of the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research, where she was exposed to material focused on twentieth-century Jewish immigration and labor unions, and the Jewish diaspora in Northern Africa and the Middle East. This work deepened her interest in Yiddish culture and made clear that she would like to continue to glean more from the language and its scholars. Dinah Megibow-Taylor is In geveb's editorial intern.
