Lea Kalisch

Lea Kalisch is a Swiss-born director, producer, actress, and singer trained in New York and currently based in Vienna. She creates multicultural and multilingual art that blends music, dance, drama, and comedy in both theater and film. Her storytelling is grounded in reality and deeply inspired by her Jewish identity. Lea has created numerous music videos with strong social messages, focusing on themes of women, sexuality, and dreams. She performs as a soloist with various bands in Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and the United States. She is a 2023–2025 Jerome Hill Artist Fellowship recipient and the winner of the 2020 Omanut-Zwillenberg Award.
