Anna Nienartowicz

Anna Nienartowicz is a Ph.D. candidate at the Taube Department of Jewish Studies at the University of Wroclaw (Poland), where she has been working on a Ph.D. thesis entitled "Theatre and film activity of the Turkow Brothers in the years 1916-1939 against the background of Yiddish cultural changes". She teaches a Yiddish language and literature course. Her scientific interests concern modern Jewish culture, Jewish theater in inter-war Poland, Polish-Jewish cultural contacts in the 20th Century, and the Jewish intelligentsia in Poland and Eastern Europe.
