Adah Hetko is a Yiddish singer/songwriter, dance-leader and educator based in Boston, MA. Several of her compositions are featured on the album Levyosn’s Lullaby (Borscht Beat, 2023), recorded with her ensemble Levyosn. Adah completed an ethnographic study of contemporary Yiddish women singers (and completed an MA in Jewish Studies at Indiana University in the process) and has studied Yiddish song and dance-leading with veteran artist Judy Bressler. She also performs with Yiddish song trio Soloveychicks, and regularly teaches at Yiddish New York and KlezKanada.
