Yaakov Herskovitz

Yaakov Herskovitz is a fellow at the Frankel Institute for Advanced Judaic Studies where he is working on a book on Self-Translation between Yiddish and Hebrew in the post-Mendele world. He received his PhD from the Department of Near Eastern Studies at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (2019). His research interests are Hebrew and Yiddish literature, translation studies and multilingualism.
