Abigail Weaver

Abigail Weaver is a playwright, costume designer and banjo player. She is a graduate of Smith College in theatre and Jewish studies, and an alumna of the Yiddish Book Center and YIVO summer Yiddish programs. With a special interest in Yiddish poetry and theatre, she looks to a legacy of cultural resilience as she develops a response in her own writing to the constant crisis. She is a fellow at the Yiddish Book Center, and lives in Northampton, Massachusetts.
